1. Acceptance of Terms

These are supplemental Terms of Use for the LunarLog iOS app developed by Bryan Stober. Your license to use LunarLog downloaded from the Apple App Store is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). By downloading, installing, or using LunarLog, you agree to these supplemental terms and Apple's Standard EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Use of LunarLog

LunarLog is a personal wellness journaling app for tracking lunar phases, writing private journal entries, and exploring patterns over time. You may use LunarLog for lawful personal purposes in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of journal entries and other content you create in LunarLog. You are responsible for the content you write and store in the app. Do not use LunarLog to store or share content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes others' rights.

Your content is stored primarily on your device. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your device if you wish to preserve your data.

4. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

LunarLog offers a free journaling experience and an optional paid subscription called LunarLog Plus. Plus unlocks additional features such as deeper reflections, richer cosmic briefings, reflection styles, rich sky context, and AI profile avatars.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iOS device. Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.

5. LunarLog Plus

LunarLog Plus is an optional subscription. Feature availability may vary by device and iOS version. We may add, modify, or remove Plus features over time. Journaling remains free regardless of Plus subscription status.

6. No Medical Advice

LunarLog is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or mental health service. Information, reflections, and wellness context provided by the app are for personal journaling and general wellness purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical questions or concerns.

7. HealthKit and Wellness Data

If you choose to connect HealthKit, LunarLog may read optional health data (such as steps, heart rate, and sleep) to provide wellness context within the app. This data is not used for advertising. HealthKit integration is optional and can be revoked in iOS Settings at any time.

8. AI and Reflections

LunarLog may generate reflections from your journal entries using on-device processing, including Apple Intelligence when available. Reflections are informational and intended to support personal wellness journaling. They are not professional advice of any kind.

Reflection quality and availability depend on your device, iOS version, and whether Apple Intelligence is supported and enabled on your device.

9. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use LunarLog lawfully and for personal purposes
• Keep your device and Apple ID secure
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or disrupt the app
• Not use the app in ways that violate Apple's App Store terms

10. Intellectual Property

LunarLog, including its design, code, graphics, and content (excluding your journal entries), is owned by Bryan Stober and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

11. Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue LunarLog or any of its features at any time. We are not obligated to maintain the app indefinitely. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes when practical.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

LunarLog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. Moon phase calculations, weather data, and reflections are provided for informational purposes.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bryan Stober shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of LunarLog, including loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
